Ingredients

    4 slices whole grain bread
    Rind of 1 small orange
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 c fat free half & half
    1/2 c egg beaters
    2 tsp splenda

Directions

Beat eggs, milk and sugar then blend in cinnamon and orange rind.

Soak each peice of bread to desired consistancy.

Coat pan with nonstick spray and fry til brown on each side.

Serve with blackberry sauce or sugar free syrup for added health.

    At almost 20 carbs per slice, this is NOT low carb! Those of us doing low carb eat only 20 carbs a day. Please, when classifying recipes, try to be more accurate. This is a low fat recipe, not low carb. Best of luck! - 3/23/10
