Introduction

I wanted to make something healthy for my kids without alot of extra :junk". These are so yummy they really didn't last through the night!!! They are a little fluffy, hence the cookie in the title and you can adjust that texture by not adding as much applesauce. I just wanted a little extra sweet! Ingredients

2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cups of whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tbs honey
    3/4 cup of applesauce
    2 tbs peanut butter
    1/3 cup of brown sugar
    1/3 cup sunflower seeds
    1 tbs cinnamon
    1/3 banana

Directions

Preheat oven to 325. Mix All ingredients until smooth. If there is anything extra you want to add such as chocolate chips, nuts, etc do it now. Spread in a 9x13 greased pan. (Pam spray will do the trick and not add any extra fat/cals) Bake for 20 mins and then remove and cool for at least 15 mins. Cut into bars. ENJOY!
