This is a simple recipe for homemade almond milk. To make this sweeter add another date. You can also add a tsp. of vanille extract or one vanilla bean for more flavor. Ingredients

    1 cup Raw Almonds
    5 cups Water
    1 Pitted Date
    1/2 tsp. Sea Salt

Directions

Makes 5 1-cup servings.

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend on high for 60 seconds. Filter milk through cheese cloth or a nut milk bag into large bowl. Transfer filtered milk into storage container. Remaining almond peices can be used in other recipes or smoothies.
