An easy and delicious chili that cooks in the crockpot An easy and delicious chili that cooks in the crockpot
Number of Servings: 12


    2 lbs. of lean ground beef or bison
    29 oz can of pinto beans w/ liquid
    29 oz can of kidney beans w/ liquid
    29 oz can of tomatoe sauce
    29 oz can of diced tomatoes (3 medium tomatoes)
    2 cups water
    1 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup of diced green chiles ( 2 whole)
    3 tbsp chile powder
    2 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp black pepper
    * jalapeno peppers, celery, additional spices may be added to adjust flavor


Put all ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. Makes 12 - 1 cup servings.
*Opitional - Cook ground beef or bison in frying pan first to drain any additional fat.
