    Spinach, fresh, 150 grams
    Cashew Nuts, dry roasted, 0.25 cup, halves and whole
    Walnuts, 0.25 cup pieces or chips
    Almonds, 1 cup, sliced
    Oranges, 1 small (2-3/8" dia)
    Strawberries, fresh, 1 cup, sliced
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4"
    Tuna, Canned in Water, 1 cup, solid or chunks
    Banana, fresh, 1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
    Raisins, .33 cup (not packed)
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, grated
    *Dole Pineapple Tidbits 100% Pineapple juice, 0.5 cup


No cooking. All items are raw.
Rinse the spinach and shake dry (4-6 ounces if you don't use grams).
All the nuts are sliced or coarse chopped.
All the nuts are natural no roasting but you can do what you want for flavor.
4 slices of bacon chopped makes it nice for a change.
Add pineapple juice with the pineapple. Fresh pineapple would be better.

  • I notice that the calorie count doesn't include bacon, but tuna. Do you put bacon AND tuna, or one or the other?

    Do you Mix together, layer? And you don't use a dressing, or blend one of the fruits and nuts for a dressing? Like pineapple and cashews? Do the nuts get soggy?
