    1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    4 cloves of garlic, minced
    1.25 pounds of ground turkey, 99% fat free
    1.25 cups of Kellogg's Corn Flakes, crushed
    1-2 tablespoons of Italian seasonings
    1 large egg
    2 egg whites
    1/4 cup fat free milk
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper


-Preheat the oven to 350*. Spray a 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan with nonstick spay; set aside.

-Saute the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in the 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook for about 7-9 minutes. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl combine the turkey, crushed corn flakes, egg, egg whites, milk, salt and pepper.
Shape into 22 balls and place in a single layer without touching each other on a jelly roll pan. Bake until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.

In a large sauce pan, bring the tomato sauce (at least 22 ounces, up to 30 ounces), to a boil; add the meatballs. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until the meatballs are cooked through, 18-20 minutes.

Pour over desired whole wheat pasta and serve.
You can sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, but this will change the nutrition facts.
