Number of Servings: 54

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter (1/4 lb.)
    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 cup white flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
    3 cups oats, regular
    3/4 cup raisins, packed

Directions

Makes about 54 cookies using a 1 TBS. measuring spoon or 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

Cream butter and brown sugar together.
Lightly beat eggs and vanilla.
Add this to the creamed mixture and stir well.
Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Stir well and add the raisins.
Stir one final time. Using a tablespoon sized measuring spoon, drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Remove to a cooling rack.
