Introduction

Definitely a family favorite! Definitely a family favorite!
Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup butter, softened
    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    2 t. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    3/4 cup cocoa
    1 t. baking soda
    1/2 t. salt

Directions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. Combine dry ingredients and blend into creamed mixture.

Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes. Don't overbake. They will puff while baking and flatten upon cooking.

Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute before removing.

Recipe yields about 4 dozen cookies.
