Ingredients

    1 lb chopped cooked chicken (about 3 chicken breast halves)
    1 16-oz jar picante sauce
    1 12-oz can spicy hot tomato vegetable juice
    1 can chili beans
    2 tbsp chili powder
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
    Shredded cheese (optional)

Directions

In a 4-qt saucepan or dutch oven, combine all ingredients except the cheese.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer about 30 minutes.
Serve topped with a tbsp shredded cheese, if desired.
