This oatmeal is very good - and adds a few items to help your heart! This oatmeal is very good - and adds a few items to help your heart!
Number of Servings: 4


    Prepare oatmeal according to package directions. Half way through the cooking time - add the carrots and walnuts. At completion of cooking time, stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmet . Mix well, cover and let sit 2 minutes.

    You can eat as is or add a little skim milk. It's delicious!

  • How much carrot and walnut are you adding per serving? Oh. There it is when you look at the nutritional breakdown by ingredient. Hmm, I think I would use a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon & nutmeg, rather than the 1/4 Tablespoon listed.

    Sounds pretty good. Will try tomorrow.
