Introduction
The first time I made these bars, they got stuck in the pan. So, I dug them out and made it crumbly -- into a "candy crunch." It ended up pretty good. Ingredients

6 T. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 T. corn syrup
1 c. (6 oz) semisweet choc. chips
1/3 c. Engish toffee bits or almond brickle chips
1/3. c. chopped pecans
Directions
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter; stir in the flour, oats, brown sugar and corn syrup. Press into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a wire rack. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand for 5 minutes; spread chocolate over crust. Sprinkle with toffee bits and pecans. Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Yield: 15 servings.
