Introduction

Ingredients

    3 lbs beef chuck roast, fat trimmed
    1oz pkg of dry italian salad dressing mix (like good seasons)
    1 cup water
    1 - 10oz jar pepperoncino peppers
    3 cloves garlic - chopped

Directions

Place the roast into crockpot, and score across meat. Push garlice pieces into scores. Shake italian dressing packets over meat. Pour in water. Add entire jar of peppers and liquid. Cover and cook. During last hour begin to shred meat with fork.

Use the meat for fajita meat, serve on buns, or even on top of a potato!

    Instead of the Good Seasons mix, I will use the Italian Dressing Mix recipe from Allrecipes.com-which I make with much less salt. Will have to see how this one turns out! - 2/14/10

    Incredible!
    This was so good! We served it with sauteed mushrooms and asperagus and it was wonderful. We'd serve this for company too, it was so good. - 3/25/09

    It sounded very good, until I saw the sodium and cholesterol mg's. Much to high for me, but it sounds good. - 3/18/09
