This is a great Sunday dinner! This is a great Sunday dinner!
Number of Servings: 4


    1 lb. beef cubes, bottom round
    1/2 package Lipton onion soup mix (can use onion & mushroom variety)
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/2 cup red wine (or cooking wine)
    1 8 oz. pkg. whole or sliced mushrooms


Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish. Bake for 3 hours at 325 degrees. Serve over whole wheat pasta or brown rice.

Makes 4 servings. I double the recipe for a large family.
