Introduction

This recipe is SO easy... you can make it smoother by putting everything into a food processor or blender instead of mixing it into a bowl, but either way you get that creamy avocado flavor, veggie goodness, and a great addition to sandwiches (instead of mayo), salads, tacos or burritos! (Yes, and a great dip, too - just make sure you eat it with sliced veggies instead of tortilla chips!) Ingredients

1 California (dark green skin) Avocado
    1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Cayenne or Chili Powder
    1 tbsp Garlic Powder
    1 dash Salt
2 tbsp Newman's Own Bandito Salsa Medium
2 wedges Laughing Cow Light Cheese (optional, extends amount and adds creaminess - nutritional info includes it)

Directions

Makes 2 servings (but can be used for 3 or more depending on how you use it)

1. Slice avocado lengthwise down the middle, all the way around. Use a big knife, and smack the blade into the pit and twist to remove. Scoop avocado out with a spoon into a bowl.

2. Add cheese wedges and mash together using a fork. (Optional - add a little squeeze of lemon or lime.)

3. Add seasonings and salsa and mix well.

I like using this inside burritos (I make about a hundred different kinds...) or on top of tacos or taco salad. It's also great in sandwiches or as a veggie dip. Sometimes if I leave it really chunky, I'll just eat it with a fork!
