    2 packets (about 2 Tbsp.) Yeast
    2-1/4 cups warm water
    3 Tbsp brown sugar

    3 Tbsp granulated sugar
    6 cups flour
    1/3 cup canola oil (or margarine)

    Pampered Chef Sweet Caramel Sprinkle(appx 1/4 cup), or cinnamon sugar
    Melted margarine to spread on top of loaves


Combine water, brown sugar, and yeast. Allow to sit until "bubbly", then add to flour, sugar, and oil. Knead until smooth consistency (not flaky or sticky), adding extra flour or water as needed. Place in bowl and cover with towel. Allow to rise until doubled in size, then pound down. Roll into a rectangle, sprinkle with caramel sugar, then roll lengthwise. Cut roll in half, and place each half into a loaf pan (greased, if needed). Baste with melted margarine and sprinkle with caramel sugar, then allow to rise again until dough comes above sides of pan. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes, then turn oven down to 350 and bake an additional 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaves, each with 8 1" slices.
