Number of Servings: 4


    1 red onion
    2 garlic cloves
    2tsp ground cumin
    2tsp tumeric
    1 cinnamon stick
    400g can chopped tomatoes
    400g can cooked chickpeas
    1 chilli, finely sliced
    500g haddock or other firm white fish sliced
    2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped


Serves 4

1)Heat a large wok/frying pan and add 4tbsp water
2)Add the onion and cook on a low heat until onions are tender
3)Add the garlic, cumin, turmeric and cinnamon and continue to cook over a low heat for about 2 mins.
4)Add 250ml water, chickpeas, tomatoes, and chilli
5)Bring to the boil, then simmer on a low heat for 10 mins
6)Add fish and continue to simmer until fish is opaque and cooked
7)Sprinkle with parsley then serve
