Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole milk yogurt (organic if you can find it)
    1/2 cup whole milk
    1 medium banana, peeled
    1 medium orange, peeled, no seeds
    about 5 frozen, unsweetened strawberries
    1 tablespoon wheat germ
    1 tsp vanilla extract (you can leave this out if you prefer)

Directions

I usually put the strawberries in the blender first, so the milk will go to the bottom and soften them up a little. I let all the ingredients sit for a few minutes to thaw the berries slightly and then I blend until smooth. Sometimes, there are still a few chunks left, but it doesn't bother me!
