This is a version of a great crab dip I had at a restaraunt once. This is a version of a great crab dip I had at a restaraunt once.
Number of Servings: 6


    ~ 8 oz FRESH crab (*does not taste good with canned crab*)
    ~ 16 oz cream cheese
    ~ 1/4 tbsp green onions
    ~ 1/4 tbsp roasted red peppers
    ~ 1 tsp hickory smoked mustard (*this is hard to find, I have tried a horseradish mustard and liquid hickory smoke to get the same effect*)
    ~ 1 tsp horseradish
    ~ 1 tsp lemon juice
    ~ 1 clove roasted garlic
    ~ 1 tsp basil


In a large bowl mix the cream cheese until it is smooth. In a separate bowl mix together the green onions, roasted red peppers, hickory smoked mustard, horseradish, (or the horseradish mustard and liquid smoke), lemon juice, roasted garlic, and basil. Add crab to this then add this to cream cheese mixture and mix again.

Serve warm. Great on top of french baguette.
