Introduction
An easy and filling casserole dinner An easy and filling casserole dinnerNumber of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
6 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breast meat
6 oz. spaghetti
2 small onions, chopped
1 cup mixed vegetables
100 grams mushroom sauce, with about 1/5 of it set aside (I used one packet of Cook Express Sauce Champignons)
1/4 cup swiss cheese, shredded
garlic powder, salt, pepper (opt.)
Directions
Break spaghetti in half and boil until cooked thoroughly, about 7 minutes. Remove to colander to drain but reserve water in pot.
In reserved spaghetti water, boil chicken breast meat for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, chop onions and measure other ingredients.
When chicken is pre-cooked, cut it into bite-sized pieces. Then, combine all ingredients (except swiss cheese and reserved mushroom sauce) in a large mixing bowl until they achieve a uniform distribution.
Put mixture in 8x8 casserole dish and top with reserved mushroom sauce and shredded swiss cheese. Cook at 350°F for about 15 minutes, until cheese is thoroughly melted.
Makes about 4 4-inch-square servings.
