    1 20 oz. box of Raisin Bran
    5 c. flour (whole wheat)
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 T. plus 2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp salt

    4 large eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. shortening, melted

    opt'l, 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips


Combine first five ingredients. Then add the last three ingredients to the dry mixture one at a time.

Cover and chill for at least 8 hours or over night. This will last up to 4 weeks in your refrigerator.

Bake in greased muffin pan at 350 degrees for 20 min. Serve hot any morning.
