Ingredients

    1 onion
    minced garlic
    1lb frozen butternut squash
    2 cups frozen spinach
    1 cup lentils
    1 cup pearl barley
    8 cups water

Directions

Saute onions and garlic

throw in squash and spinach and let cook

cover with the water

bring to a boil

put in barley and lentils
