    1/3 pkg of oven ready lasagna noodles
    1 cup peas
    1/2 can crushed tomatoes
    3/4 lb lean ground beef
    1 clove garlic
    1 cup onion chopped
    1-2 cups water


My kids gobbled it up ( i added a small amount of shredded mozzarella to thiers)
brown the meat with the onion and garlic.
Drain. Add crushed tomatoes, 1 cup water and peas (frozen). Break the noodles into peices (split one noodle into about 6 pieces) add to pot/skillet. Bring to a boil. Turn to low/med heat. Cover. Stir occasionally. Add water as needed until the noodles are soft. Lift lid and boil about 1-2 minutes to thicken. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes to thicken sauce. Makes 4 servings. with a salad its a great meal (inexpensive too). I added a small amount of low fat mozzarella cheese grated to those who wished (not in the calorie count) if doing this add to top of hot mixture and let melt while it is cooling)
