in a large bowl, whisk together Shollot, maple syrup, cider vinegar and salt.
Toss cabbage(sliced thin), cranberries, and pear(cut in matchsticks) into bowl with dressing and let sit for at least 30 mins. and up to several hours to allow flavors to blend
