    * Olive Oil, 2 1tsp
    * Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    * Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    * Onions 1 cup, chopped
    * Garlic, 1 tsp
    * Cabbage, fresh, 5 cup, shredded
    * Split Peas, 2 cups
    * Water 10 cups
    4 t. vegetable bouillion
    1 t. basil
    1 t. thyme
    1 t. majoram
    1 t. cumin
    1 t. non-salt seasonings
    0.5 t. oregano
    0.5 t. savory
    1/8 t. sage
    1/8 t. tarragon
    1/4 t celery seed
    1/4 t. coriander
    0.5 t. salt sense


Saute first five ingredients in olive oil until softened.
Add split peas, water, and spices. Mix. Cover. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Serving size is 1 cup. Makes 7 servings
