This is a chewy yummy cookie for breakfast! This is a chewy yummy cookie for breakfast!
Number of Servings: 30


    2 Cups Bran Flakes, crushed
    2 Cups Oats
    2 Tablespoons Wheat Germ
    1 1/2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
    1/2 cup Rice Milk (Skim milk can be used)
    1 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
    1 Teaspoon Vanilla
    1/3 Cup Honey
    2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
    2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
    2 Teaspoons Arrowroot (Corn Starch can be used)
    1 Cup Raisins


Crush bran flakes, mix with oats, wheat germ, and cinnamon. Set aside. Mix milk applesauce, vanilla and honey. Add baking soda, cream of tarter and arrowroot (or corn starch) to wet ingredients. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in raisins. Scoop in balls on cookie sheet and flatten. Bake 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes.

These are really sticky on the pan or parchment so spray with oil spray.
