    1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
    1/2 cup applesauce (instead of oil)
    3/4 cup egg beaters ( 3 egg whites for white cake)
    1 pkg, jello (any flavor)
    1 cup boiling water


Pre- heat as per directions on cake box
Mix the first 4 ingredients together and bake in muffin pans.
Mix jello in boiling water until desolved well.
Poke holes in cupcakes.
Spoon jello over cupcakes evenly.
Refrigerate 30 Mins.

Can make as a layer cake and use fat free cool whip to frost. OR
fat free cool whip
1 cup fat free sour cream
3/4 cup powdered sugar - mix all these well
Frost cake and refiigerate
