    1 lb of extra lean ground beef
    1 large onion diced
    1 tbs minced garlic
    1 tbs of grill seasoning
    1 tsp onion powder
    15 saltines, crushed well
    1 large egg
    1/4 cup of milk
    1/4 lb ( 4 slices) of bacon cut in half

    1/4 cup ketchup
    1 packed tbs brown sugar
    1 tbs white vinegar


preheat oven to 350. spray baking dish with pam. mix all the meatloaf ingredients together except for the bacon. be carful not to over mix or it will become tough. place in baking dish and shape in into a loaf. then lay the bacon over top in a single layer, tucking the ends under if needed. bake uncovered for 1 hour. then mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar. brush evenly on meatloaf and bake for 15 more mins, putting glaze on every 5 mins. makes 8 1 inch thick servings. * there will be some bacon grease at the bottom of the pan, just blot it up with paper towels before cutting to reduce the calories, as the nutrional info is based on raw bacon, not drained.
