    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground turkey
    2 slices whole w\heat bread
    1/2 c. low fat parmesan
    2 eggs
    2 garlic cloves
    1 tsp. basil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 jars marinara sauce
    1 lb. of pasta


Process garlic in food processor until finely chopped. Add bread slices, process until fine crumbs. Add parmesan and basil and salt and pepper to taste, process to blend. Empty into lg. bowl, add ground beef and turkey and the eggs. Stir well to blend. Form into balls, put in shallow baking pan greased with nonstick spray. Bake at 350 for 40 mins. In meantime, heat marinara sauce in saucepan, and boil pasta according to directions. When meatballs are done, add to sauce and warm on low for 20 mins. Serve on cooked pasta
