Ingredients

    5 matzo
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup butter
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Arrange matzo in sheet pan lined with foil
Bring butter and sugar to boil over medium heat in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes
Pour over matzo and spread evenly.
Place pan in 350 oven and cook 12 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle immediately with chips.
When chips have melted, spread over matzo
Sprinkle with pecans and allow to set. Break into 3" pieces.

  • I've had Matzo Crack before, made by other people and can get seriously stoned on this. Not #KETO friendly at all. I was looking for recipes and thought about this one - did a search and here it is! Yay! Have it saved. Works with other nuts too - shredded coconut, sliced almonds etc. - 4/13/17
