These can be made healthier with non fat milk and margarine instead of 2% and butter. You can also use natural peanut butter instead of the creamy. These are so simple to make and kids love them. Ingredients

    2c. sugar
    3 TBS cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 TBS vanilla extract
    3c. quick oats

Directions

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the sugar, cocoa, and milk until dissolved. Let come to a boil and stir constantly 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Add the peanut butter and oats and stir til well coated. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool to set. Store in airtight container.
