Ingredients

12 little neck clams in shell
1/4 cup fat free cheddar cheese
4 strips turkey bacon (cooked until crisp and crumble)

Directions

Fire up your grill. If using charcoal, allow coals to reach peak heat and there is no flame. Place clams on the grill and cover. Grill for 3-4 minutes until clams pop open. Remove clams using tongs and set aside. Remove the top shell. Sprinkle crumbled turkey bacon on the clams. Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheese. With tongs, put clams back on the grill and close lid until cheese is melted.
You can brush clams with Worchestershire sauce, hotsauce, or even barbecue for an added flavor.
