Kids love this thick chili dip that you scoop with chips. The chili itself is great as a meal or a snack, is low in fat, very filling, and contains the perfect carb to protein ratio. Ingredients

    Whole grain rice mix - including black and wild
    Lean ground beef
    Low fat refried beans
    canned corn
    crushed tomatoes
    Chili powder
    Garlic powder
    Worchestershire sauce
    salt
    Tobasco sauce - to taste
    Tortilla chips for scooping

Directions

Combine rice and recommended amount of water in a saucepan and boil for about 10 minutes until rice begins to soften up. Add ground beef and cook until no pink remains. Stir in refried beans,crushed tomatoes, corn and seasonings. Simmer until rice is cooked and flavors are combined, about 45 minutes. Serve warm with whole grain tortilla chips for scooping. ** is also very good when topped with a sprinkle of grated cheese or a dollop of sour cream. Makes about 15 snack sized servings.
