Introduction

It's so easy to make your own taco seasoning mix and tastes so much better that premixes. It's so easy to make your own taco seasoning mix and tastes so much better that premixes.
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    ¼ Cup Dried Onion Flakes
    4 Tbsp. Chili Powder
    1Tbsp. Salt
    4 tsp. Corn Starch
    3 tsp. Cumin Powder
    3 tsp. Dried Minced Garlic
    3 tsp. Onion Powder
    2 tsp. Hot Pepper Flakes*
    2 tsp. Beef Bullion Powder
    1 ½ tsp. Oregano

Directions

Combine all the ingredients and store in an air-tight container. When you make tacos, brown the ground beef in a skillet and sprinkle the taco seasoning on the browned meat according to your own taste. Add a few tablespoons of water, and let simmer for a few minutes.
When you're using for Mexican dishes, use about 1 tablespoon or so per 1 pound ground beef, or chicken or beans. More if you like the extra flavor.

*Note: I only add 1 tsp Hot Pepper Flakes. That’s enough for me.
