A hot cereal similar to Cream of Wheat A hot cereal similar to Cream of Wheat
Number of Servings: 8


    Yellow Cornmeal, 1 cup
    Flour, white, .5 cup (optional)
    Nutrasweet Equal packet, 8 packet
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Margarine, soft, 2 tsp (optional)
    Milk, nonfat, 2 cup
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)


Combine dry ingredients in 2 quart sauce pan.
Stir in liquid ingredients. Make sure liquid and dry ingredients are thoroughly mix together so that there are no lumps.
Place sauce pan on flame and bring to a boil - stirring constantly to prevent any lump from forming.
When it reaches a rolling boil, lower flame and allow the porridge to simmer for about 10 minutes
Stir occasionally. Remove from flame and serve. Makes about 8 1 cup serving.
