    2/3 C regular oats (not instant), divided
    1/3 C Bisquick Heart Smart baking mix
    2 tbsp whole flax seeds
    1 1/2 tsp Splenda brown sugar blend
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp Smart Balance Light buttery spread
    1/3 C light vanilla soymilk
    3/4 C fresh blueberries (can substitute with other fresh berries)


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grind 1/3 cup of the regular oats and the 2 tbsp of whole flax seeds (a coffee grinder works well for this) and combine with the remaining 1/3 cup of oats, baking mix, brown sugar blend and baking powder.
With a fork, cut in the 2 tsp of butter spread. Add soy milk and combine just to wet ingredients (don't overmix). Carefully fold in the berries.
On a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray, divide batter into 7 mounds. Bake for 10 minutes.
