    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 cup 1%milk
    1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
    1 medium egg
    1/4 tsp salt (Optional)
    1/4 pepper (optional)

    3/4 cup ketchup (1carb and calorie reduced kind)
    3Tbsp brown sugar
    3 Tbsp white vinegar
    2Tbsp Worcestershire sauce


Combine ground beef, milk, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Make into balls to cover bottom of baking dish. (I use a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Bake at 400 F for 30 min. Drain fat. Place in baking dish

NOTE: To save time make and cook meat balls night before, then cook in sauce as directed.

SAUCE: Bring ingredients to a boil. Pour over meat balls. Cover and Bake in 275 F to 300F oven for about 1 hour. Serve with rice.

Makes 6-7 servings (approx 5 meat balls per serv)
