Mild cheesy tilapia for under 350 calories Mild cheesy tilapia for under 350 calories
Number of Servings: 2


    1 pound of tilapia filets or loins
    1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
    1 1/2 tblsp light mayonnaise
    I tblsp lemon juice
    1 tsp celery seed
    1 tsp onion powder
    1.5 TBSP melted butter


Mix all the above ingredients (except for the fish)
Line a baking pan with foil, arrange tilapia in the pan and spray fish with Olive Oil Pam
Broil about 6 inches from burner for about 3-4 minutes (depending on thickness of the fish--less for thinner, 4 minutes for loins)
Turn fish, lightly spray with Olive Oil, broil for 3-4 more minutes, depending on thickness of fish,
Check for flakiness of the fish (for doneness)
if the fish is just beginning to flake. Top with mixture and put back into oven. Check for doneness every 2-3 minutes (flakiness of the fish). Do not overcook.
This is a delicious and creamy way to serve a very mild white fish.
