Ingredients

    4 carrots, peeled and coarsely grated, or use a julienne peeler
    1 T unsalted butter
    2-3 T water
    salt and pepper, to taste
    1/4 t garlic powder

Directions

In medium size saucepan, melt butter with water and add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add carrots, cover tightly until steam forms, then lower heat and cook for 4-5 minutes or until carrots are to desired tenderness.
