This fast, easy, MICROWAVE cake will fix your sweet tooth in only a few minutes. Just make sure you share it! The texture is a little spongey, since it's a microwave cake, but it still tastes delicious! This fast, easy, MICROWAVE cake will fix your sweet tooth in only a few minutes. Just make sure you share it! The texture is a little spongey, since it's a microwave cake, but it still tastes delicious!

Ingredients

    4 tbl flour
    4 tbl granulated sugar
    2 tbl unsweetened cocoa
    1 tbl cornstarch
    3 tbl water
    3 tbl milk
    4 tbl applesauce
    3 tbl chocolate chips (optional, but included in nutrient analysis)
    1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Add dry ingredients to a small bowl whisk well. Add the water, milk and applesauce, and mix well (don't whisk---it'll get stuck!). Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Split batter between two mugs/ramekins. Put one mug/ramekin in microwave at a time and cook on HIGH for 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool a little before eating.
