this is a splurge... but very very yummy. this is a splurge... but very very yummy.
Number of Servings: 8



    1 cup frozen butter
    2 1/2 cup flour
    8 tbsp ice water
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt

    2 1/2 cups sliced rhubarb
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/4 cup flour
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 tsp lemon juice
    dash salt


Grate butter into dry ingredients micx with hands and add water. mix quickly with hands form into 2 balls and refrigerate 1 hour.
remove from fridge let rest till plyable.
roll out one ball and place in pie pan
mix all filling ingredients in bowl and pour into crust
roll second ball and place over top trim edges and flute
cook 10 min @ 450 and then reduce to 350 and cook 30 more minutes
Makes 8 equal slices
