Ingredients

    8 ounces ground lean turkey
    1 small can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
    8 washed and dried large iceberg lettuce leafs
    1 medium onion, chopped finely
    2 large cloves garlic, chopped finely
    2-4 tbsp Soy Sauce, low sodium if you like
    2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
    1 tbsp white vinegar
    3 tbsp Sweet Chile Chicken Sauce (from Asian Market)
    3 tbsp brown sugar
    3/4 cup water
    Hot sauce, salt and cilantro to taste

Directions

Brown ground turkey in a pan with non-stick spray. Add diced onions when mostly cooked through. Stir until onions begin to soften, and add garlic. When it becomes fragrant, add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Taste, and add hot sauce, salt and cilantro to your liking. When the sauce becomes thicker, turn the heat to low.

Wash and dry large lettuce leafs. Place on a plate at the table. Transfer meat mixture to a bowl and serve with a large spoon. Take a lettuce leaf, like a tortilla, and add meat mixture. Fold and enjoy!
