Ingredients

    4 cups water
    2 Tbsp. margirine
    2 1/4 cups uncooked long grain white rice
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    2 Tbsp. instant chicken or beef bouillon cubes
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Directions

In medium saucepan, bring 4 cups water and 2 Tbsp. butter to boil. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving.
I cook it in my rice cooker. If you use a rice cooker, use the water amount that it calls for. It seems to use a little less.
Makes 9 - 3/4 cup servings.
