Number of Servings: 30


    2 cups oats
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup wheat germ
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup honey
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flour, chocolate chips, and salt. Make a well in the center, and pour in the combined honey, egg, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla. Mix well using your hands. Pat the mixture into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for about 20-25 minutes (until edges brown). Cool for 5 minutes, cut while still warm into 30 bar-size servings.
