Number of Servings: 8



    1/2 lb ground beef 93% lean
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1/3 cup tomato paste
    spaghetti seasoning packet
    1 cup water

    9 or 10 lasagna noodles cooked to package directions.

    24 oz. of shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/2 cup cottage cheese 2%


To make sauce, brown ground beef, add tomato sauce and paste and spaghetti seasoning, with 1 cup of water. Simmer.

While making sauce, bring water to a boil in large pan. Add 9 or 10 lasagna noodles and cook as directed.

In 9 x 13 pan, spray Pam. Add a small amount of the homemade sauce to the bottom of the pan.

Layer 3 lasagna noodles, then add more sauce.

Add mozzarella, then sprinkle a small amount of cottage cheese on top of the mozz.

Layer 3 more noodles, sauce, then more mozzarella.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Let stand 10 - 15 minutes to make cutting easier.

Makes 8 servings.
