Very hearty main dish. Great with potatoes, rice, or noodles. Very hearty main dish. Great with potatoes, rice, or noodles.

    1 lb. ground turkey
    6 saltine crackers, crushed
    1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 t. garlic
    1 t. pepper
    3/4 c. chopped onion, browned
    3/4 c. mushrooms
    2 t. olive oil
    1 c. skim milk
    1 T. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste in gravy


In fry pan, sprayed with non-stick spray, saute onions at med. low heat for 10 min. Add mushrooms and cook another 5 min.
While the onions are cooking -
Worcestershire sauce
and pepper

Shape into balls and fry, at medium heat in the olive oil. I place the onions and mushrooms in a bowl and use the same pan to fry the meatballs.

When the meat is completed, take out meatballs and put the onions and mushrooms back in.
Combine milk and corn starch and add to pan. Add salt and pepper to taste. Also good to add a little garlic and Worcestershire.

When the mixture has thickened add the meatballs.

Serve over noodles, rice, or potatoes.
