    cut the cabbage into quarters and core it
    cut into 1/4 inch strips
    1 onion sliced in half then into 1/4 inch strips
    3 tbsp salt
    2 tbsp black pepper
    3 cloves garlic minced
    3 tbsp olive oil


place in a deep skillet.put salt ,pepper,and garlic over the cabbage add 2 cups water and place lid on skillet and cook on med heat to steam till limp.Then remove lid and let the water boil out and then add the olive oil and cook till brown

  • I was thinkng about making this but I would think that 3 tablespoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of pepper would be a LOT for this dish. Do you really mean 3 teaspoons(tsp) of salt, which would = 1 Tablespoon, and 2 teaspoons of pepper? Just wondering... - 2/10/09
