    7 oz. (3 cups) uncooked bow tie pasta
    2 cups diced cooked chicken
    ½ cup sliced celery
    1 (3.5 oz.) pkg. dried cherries
    ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted


    ¼ cup white wine vinegar
    ¼ cup apple juice
    3 Tbs. sugar
    ½ tsp. dry mustard
    ½ tsp. celery salt
    ¼ cup oil
    ¼ cup mayo
    2 tsp. poppy seeds


Cook pasta according to package direction. Drain and rinse in cold water to cool. Drain well.

In a large bowl combine; pasta, chicken, celery, and cherries. Mix well.

In blender combine; vinegar, apple juice, sugar, dry mustard, and celery salt. Blend until well mixed. With blender running, slowly add the oil; blend until thick then add the mayo and the poppy seeds. Blend on a low speed just until mixed.

Pour dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Fold in the toasted almonds. Serve well chilled.
