Ingredients

    8 oz. Water - bottled or tap - the purer the water the better, cold or hot according to taste
    1-2 Tbsp Maple Syrup, Grade B Organic
    At least 1 Tbsp Lemon or Lime, or 1/2 medium lemon / 1 lime.
    Pinch of Cayenne Pepper or more as tolerated - if you just can't handle the taste or spice of the Cayenne, take them in pill form.

Directions

Heat water to desired temp. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drink in the place of food.

If you are diabetic, try an organic Molasses.

Never do this fast without consulting your physician.

    How does the fast work Darlene? sounds interesting? I did try the drink and I loved it. - 5/19/09

    The syrup is supposed to be a complete nutrition item, supplying body needs while you rest your system from solid food. The lemon is a natural cleanser and the Cayene is a natural liver detox agient for the body. Please be sure to check the link provided on my blog site for more info on this fast.
