Introduction
These muffins are really tasty and freeze like a dream. I just take a few out every couple days to thaw so my son and I can have them for snacks. Ingredients

2 c boiling water
4 c All Bran cereal
2 c 100% Bran Flakes
4 c plain yogurt
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 c shortening
2 1/2 c AP flour
2 1/2 c wheat flour
5 t baking soda
1 t salt
Directions
Makes 40 muffins
In a large bowl, pour hot water over cereals. In a separate bowl, cut shortening into flours with pastry blender (or forks or whatever, as long as it gets mostly mashed in). Pour all ingredients into cereal mixture and mix until just blended. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes (20 minutes is perfect for my shiny muffin tins, a smidge long for my dark ones).
