Ingredients

2lbs 93% Ground Turkey (can sub beef)
4 Green Bell Peppers Diced in large chunks
    1 med Onion Chopped
    1 med onion - chopped
    2 TBS olive oil
    2 can diced tomatos
2 16 oz cans tomato sauce
    Salt
    Pepper
    Onion Powder
    Garlic Powder
    2-3 tsp sweetner (optional)

Directions

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and saute peppers & onions (sprinke with salt and pepper) until tender, approx 10 minutes. Set aside. Brown meat seasoned with seasoning above to taste. Ground turkey requires more seasoning than beef. Drain fat. Add peppers & onion, tomato's and tomato sauce (add sweetner to tomato sauce if you use it, it cuts the tartness from the tomato), more seasonings to taste. Bring mixture to a boil, then cover and reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. If you want the sauce to be thicker you can add a little tomato paste until you get the thickness you want. Serve over mashed caulifower or brown rice.
